RKDF University, Ranchi, has officially commenced its second round of counseling for the 2026-27 academic session, offering direct admission opportunities against available vacant and cancelled seats across its undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional degree programs. According to the university administration, candidates can secure admission without any late fine until September 14, 2026, while the final deadline to apply with a late fee stands at September 30, 2026, subject to seat availability.
The institution, established under the Jharkhand Government Act of 2018 with relevant statutory approvals including UGC, AIU, BCI, and PCI affiliations, conducts full-time regular classroom degree courses. Offerings include BBA, BCA, B.Tech, B.Sc. Life Sciences, MBA, MCA, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, LL.B, and integrated BBA LL.B. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Kumar Pandey stated that the counseling window presents a crucial opening for aspirants who have yet to secure admission, advising students and parents to complete formalities early due to limited vacancy numbers.
The university has also instituted merit-based scholarships and student support provisions for the session, offering free education for state toppers, alongside tuition fee concessions for district and school toppers. Under applicable norms, selected categories of students can also avail of perks such as free uniforms and transport facilities.
